How to cook your Stevens Country Ham

Let's cook that country ham up right!
To Bake:
Wash Stevens ham, wrap completely in extra heavy aluminum foil, place in roaster or broiler, skin up. Bake at 300 degrees F, allowing 20-25 minutes per pound from the time the oven reaches 300 F. When done, remove from foil from top side of Stevens ham and remove skin while warm. Dot with cloves, sprinkle with brown sugar, cover with pineapple and return to oven for browning. Baste twice during this time.
Frying:
Slice Stevens ham to desired thickness, wash, trim off skin. For best results, ham should be fried slowly.
