How to make some good ol' Red Eye Gravy!
Sliced Stevens Country Ham
1/4 cup water
In large skillet, fry Stevens ham. After ham is fully cooked, remove Stevens ham from skillet. Reduce heat to low-medium setting. Leave the remaining drippings in the skillet. Carefully pour 1/4 cup water into pan. The water and dripplings will cook together to make gravy. Cook for appx 2 minutes, stirring with metal spatula. This gravy is commonly served with grits and homemade biscuits.
